March 15, Thursday, Day 164

Eastbank Campground, Lake Seminole, GA.

A short walk brought us to the top of the massive dam holding back this huge lake. Not much to see up there but a good view of our campground. It’s hilly here in these parts; I’ll have to get used to elevation changes when I get my bike out.

Heading home, we passed a turtle festival almost overlooking a Green Heron. Its camouflage another example of divine artistry! Parts of it blend into the background. It shows its head crest it the fourth picture.

It was a lovely 3 mile walk; bright sunshine about 79F.

Gonzaga beat U of North Carolina-Greensboro 68-64 to advance to the round of 32! I could only get score updates, no audio or video. I’ll have to do something about that!
