A canoe rental was well worth the $27 for two hours. There was plenty of wildlife and beautiful scenery to admire. First, the wildlife: Red bellied woodpecker 6′ alligator 6′ alligator 8′ alligator Florida chicken turtles more chicken turtles Zebra longwinged butterfly Little blue heron 24″ Lurking eating machine And, the scenery: Gnarly cypress trunk Huge live oak Stationery bridge Suspension bridge South view of fallen oak North view of fallen oak Desperate palm tree Amazing reflecting spot Live oak a sieve in high water Tranquillity!
