Zink residence, St. Mary’s, GA., 246 mile jump
Leaving Lake Seminole about 10:15AM, we headed east on I-10 for most of the 246 mile trip. It was punctuated by a fast food breakfast stop and a few quick bathroom breaks at rest stops, taking about 5 hours to complete. The weather was in the high 70s and the sky a gorgeous blue.
The girls have grown a bit in the five months since we’ve seen them last! We got in and set up before they got off the school bus. They were quite excited and rambunctiously vied for attention. Mom and Dad were busy at a church function, so we made some tacos with the girls help and watched a little TV to settle them down. They went to bed at 8PM without complaining. We went to bed directly after that!
