We have committed to painting the exterior of Penny’s house this summer. The last two years have been spent on the interiors of the two flats. Upstairs was first, then downstairs last year. This is a big, tall house with four 28′ gables, two of which are accessible from a ladder set on the ground. The other two would require ladder sets on the roof of other buildings. So, we opted to rent a 45′ articulating boom to make the work safer and easier on us old geezers. And, we did get Penny’s niece, our downstairs tenant, Gypsy to help with the tall stuff. I dropped a 55 lb. planter on my foot requiring 12 stitches.
